Our religious education classes begin this week. All children and youth will start upstairs in the sanctuary and will go downstairs after the Time for All Ages. Classes end at 11:45am. Our children and youth will hear a story about happiness and engage in community building activities and create covenants.
This Sunday our Acting DRE is Esther Katz and our RE Ambassador is Jeff Frank.
Nursery will be open and staffed by Katie Boczarski and Jennifer Sorensen. This year, twice a month, we will be sharing a story or activity as well as lighting a chalice. This Sunday we will hear the story “Have You Filled a Bucket Today? A Guide to Daily Happiness for Kids.”
Spirit Play will be participating in an orientation to the classroom. A reminder to parents and guardians, your child needs to be picked up from this class. Class ends at 11:45am.

Moral Tales will introduce the notion that our interconnectedness with one another and the Earth forms the basis for understanding justice and goodness. We will be creating a classroom covenant.

Maker Space will be reviewing the making for the year, bee hotels democracy, UUSC programs and then they will be creating their classroom covenant.
Teachers: Anna Sorensen and Pat Glover
OWL/Neighboring Faiths will be creating their covenant as well as completing a brief questionnaire about what religions they would like to learn about this year. Please come with ideas.

Youth Group will engaging in community building activities, creating their covenant, decorating their classroom and determining their theme for the year.
